Compensation & Benefits
- $21 – $26 per hour, based on experience, reliability, and classroom leadership
- $500 sign-on bonus
- $250 after 60 days
- $250 after 6 months

Classroom Leadership
- Lead an Infant/Toddler classroom with full ownership of routines, safety, and environment
- Create a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom culture
- Maintain strong classroom management using positive guidance
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with our curriculum
- Observe and document developmental milestones
- Individualize care and learning based on each child
- Build strong, professional relationships with families
- Provide consistent daily updates
- Handle parent questions confidently and professionally
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom at all times
- Provide active supervision
Required
- Experience with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
- Strong reliability (attendance and punctuality are non-negotiable)
- Ability to manage a classroom independently
- Comfortable with daily parent communication
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education
- 1–3 years of experience
- Familiarity with Virginia licensing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, sitting, and active engagement
- Looking for a “watch the kids” job
- Frequently late or unreliable
- Uncomfortable speaking with parents
- Not interested in structure, curriculum, or accountability
