What Youll Do
- Lead a preschool classroom in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Implement age-appropriate, play-based activities that support early literacy, math, and social skills
- Encourage independence, positive behavior, and peer relationships
- Communicate daily with families about learning, routines, and progress
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets licensing and safety standards
- Work closely with co-teachers and leadership to ensure classroom success
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
