Substitute teachers play a vital role in maintaining the warmth and consistency of our classrooms when our regular teaching staff are absent. Substitutes may be called forshort-term daily coverageorlonger-term assignments, depending on program needs.

Duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Follow daily routines and lesson plans to ensure consistency for the class
- Provide positive guidance and model respectful communication
- Work collaboratively with other staff and maintain open communication with the classroom team
- Uphold all center policies and licensing regulations
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience working with preschool-aged children required
- Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with play-based, child-centered approaches to learning
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to varying classroom needs
- Must meet State of New Hampshire child care licensing requirements
