What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at The Learning Center?
- Assist in operation of program activities as instructed by the teacher.
- Maintain appropriate training environment.
- Carry out daily schedule/personal care as directed by the teacher.
- Attend in‑service training programs and program activities as deemed necessary by the Director of Services and Administrative Assistant.
- Implement objectives of program plan as directed by the teacher.
- Will collect and record data for individual program plans as directed by the teacher.
- Will develop materials with assistance of teacher.
- Assist in operation of program in classroom as instructed by the teacher.
- Take charge of classroom in the absence of the teacher.
- Will maintain protection of client privacy regarding any information maintained by the organization regarding services and/or operations. Will access only client information needed for the implementation of activities required for this position.
- Will implement appropriate behavior management techniques and follow principles stated- TLC Code of Ethics.
- Implement behavior strategies as directed by the teacher.
- Will prepare lunch for students each day.
Will be responsible for cleaning the kitchen each day after lunch with the exception of mopping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
