- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and contracts.
- Prepare for hearings and trial by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Communicate clearly with clients to keep them informed about case developments and legal options.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently using legal case management systems while maintaining meticulous records of all case activities.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing family law with a strong understanding of procedural law and statutory regulations.
- Experience in trial preparation with a focus on litigation advocacy.
- Skilled in legal research and writing.
- Prior law office experience involving client communication, legal motion preparation, contract drafting, and procedural tasks.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to advocate effectively in court settings.
