Overview
I am seeking a highly organized and proactive Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to assist me in the daily tasks associated with a busy criminal law practice. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of my office by providing exceptional front desk and phone support, as well as administrative assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ability to e-file is a must.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry, e-filing, and clerical tasks to support daily office operations.
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating client meetings.
- Provide client support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document preparation, proofreading, and correspondence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a law office environment or legal administrative role is preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
