Role Description The General Attorney will provide comprehensive legal services across multiple practice areas, including but not limited to estate planning, business law, civil litigation, debtor protection, and real estate. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on legal rights and obligations, drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing pleadings, motions, and other court filings. The role also involves representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, managing case files, and collaborating with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Livingston, NJ, requiring regular interaction with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze complex Legal Issues and provide sound Legal Advice.
- Experience or coursework in Administrative Law, including familiarity with regulatory frameworks and government procedures.
- Advanced Research skills for case law, statutes, regulations, and legal commentary.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in New Jersey (New York admission is a plus).
- Experience in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas (e.g., estate planning, business law, civil litigation, bankruptcy, or real estate).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment and maintain positive client relationships.
