What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self-Service Dog Wash Attendant position at The Laundromutt?
This is a fun position for the right candidate possessing demonstrable experience with dogs and dog behavior. Perfect for people with a customer service-centered attitude.
Job Duties:
-Customer service (checking customers out, helping customers when they have questions or need assistance, answering the phone, etc.)
-Cleaning the shop and tubs throughout the day and at closing (if doing a closing shift)
-Keeping clients and their animals safe and healthy while they are in our facility
Job Requirements:
-On-the-job experience with dogs and confidence in working with animals
-Must be experienced and have previous professional on the job experience in and be able to confidently do dog and cat nail trims on your own (without assistance). 1 year minimum experience, doing nail trims on your own pet does not qualify.
-Punctuality and reliability
-Possess strong skills in clear and effective communication, customer service, and independent problem-solving
-Must be technologically proficient and confident in using wireless devices for customer database and POS
-Willingness and ability to learn quickly
-Must be a team player and work well with others
Pay is dependent on experience. Exceptional performance will be rewarded with pay raises. You also make tips of top of hourly wage. Room for growth within this locally-owned small business.'
