Responsibilities
- Perform eyelash extension applications with precision, ensuring client safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable lash styles or enhancements.
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols in accordance with industry standards to ensure client safety.
- Manage appointment scheduling, client records, and follow-up communications using salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY.
- Promote additional aesthetic treatments like dermal fillers, chemical peels, or lash lifts to enhance client results and increase retail sales.
- Educate clients on proper aftercare routines and product recommendations for long-lasting results.
- Stay current with the latest trends in lash extensions, eye aesthetics, and beauty treatments through ongoing training and industry research.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a lash technician or in the beauty industry with a focus on eyelash extensions.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, injection administration (Botulinum toxin treatment), dermal fillers, and other aesthetic treatments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Familiarity with salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
- Knowledge of social media management for promoting services and engaging with clients online.
- Basic skills in hair styling, makeup application, hair extensions, or barbering are a plus for cross-service opportunities.
- Experience with retail sales techniques to upsell products like lash care kits or skincare items.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with professionalism in all guest interactions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new treatments such as esthetic laser therapy or body waxing as needed.
