Position Summary: The Room Attendant is responsible for preparing and presenting the guest room to the very high standards of The Lantern Columbia.

Essential Job Functions
- Preparing and presenting the guest room to the very high standards of The Lantern Columbia. Perfectly clean, perfectly set.
- Check-outs take a bit longer: remove soiled linens, remake the bed, remove trash, reset all items, vacuum, dust, sanitize and clean the bathroom floors, shower, vanity, and basin, replace amenities when needed.
- Services take less time: bed remade, terry replaced, trash removed, vacuum, present room to show guests we care for the them.
- Complete tasks within the designated time periods for check-outs and services.
- Immediately report any technical issues and maintenance needs using our app.
- Update status of guest rooms on device.
- Restock cleaning cart, inform Housekeeping Support when guest floor closets are in need of linen and supplies.
- Follow all health and safety rules.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Be a great teammate, especially when paired with another team member.
Experience and Education:
Having cleaned before (hotel, residential, commercial, stewarding) is a plus, but not necessary. We'll hire for energy, heart, attention to detail and can train you.
Do need a High school diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent
