Position Summary: The Public Area Cleaner is responsible with keeping the common areas of the hotel (indoor and outdoor), including the guest area of the bar and restaurant, incredibly clean and inviting to hotel guests, patrons, and team members.

Essential Job Functions
- Vacuum / disinfect floor surfaces using a vacuum, floor scrubber or mop, the common area floors of the hotel and restaurant including the lobby, elevators, the f&b areas, bathrooms, and the heart of house areas.
- Dust, wipe down, polish all common area furniture and fixtures.
- Clean and disinfect the fitness center (floors, equipment, rest rooms).
- Clean the restaurant and bar area by wiping down tables, chairs, and surrounding fixtures.
- Collect all glassware that is left in public areas, bring to the dish area.
- Empty and replace public area trash containers with new liners.
- Keep work area, rooms storage room, organized and clean.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces (if possible).
- Maintain the PAC cart, keep stocked for teammates use.
- Operate a battery blower to keep the outdoor terrace clean of debris and ready for guest use.
- Immediately report any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Other tasks as requested by the Rooms leadership.
- Follow all health and safety rules
- Attends meetings as required
Experience and Education:
Having general cleaning (residential, commercial, hotel, hospital) is a big plus but not necessary. We can train you.
We do need a minimum of a High school diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent.
