General Construction/Heavy Highway
Operate Heavy equipment: experience with various types of equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders and graders.
Site prep and earthwork: set RCP pipe/culvert, dig trenches, level ground, move dirt or materials, and prepare the site for utility or foundation.
Follow plans and grades: work from site plans, stakes or grade marking to ensure accuracy in excavation and grading.
Communicate with the crews and the foreman to maintain workflow.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience operating equipment
- Experience laying pipe and culverts is a plus
- Strong attention to details and safety.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Valid Driver’s License Preferred.
- Must be able to pass a clearance background check by NAVFAC
Pay Rates are Based on Experience
