Passengers travel to O'Hare International Airport on our signature motor coaches and enjoy seamless bag transfer to and from their flights.

The Role:

As a front-line ambassador of the Landline experience, you will transport passengers between regional locations and major airports, ensuring comfort, timeliness, and safety at every step. You will be based in our regional bus depot located in the great Chicago, IL area, supporting our Chicago O'Hare Airport operations. This position is responsible for scheduled route and rescue shifts along with routine bus swaps.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Landline motor coach on scheduled routes
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, assisting with boarding and luggage as needed
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and local traffic laws
• Maintain accurate and timely driving logs and reports via digital systems
• Communicate with dispatch and airport partners to ensure smooth transitions for guests
• Uphold Landline’s commitment to cleanliness and professionalism
• Professional conduct at all times while on duty or in uniform
• Safely load and unload baggage and cargo weighing up to 70 pounds per unit and push/pull luggage carts with multiple items loaded
• Fuel and clean vehicles
• A typical schedule will involve 2 nonconsecutive overnight hotel stays with weekend availability required

Requirements:

This is a Safety-Sensitive Position subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FMCSA guidelines.

• Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake and passenger endorsement and a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required
• Must successfully pass a road test, DOT physical, and pre-employment drug and criminal background screen
• Excellent driving record and customer service skills

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 10 hour shift
• Morning shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability is a non-negotiable*
• 3pm start in the Chicago area, ending shift with overnight stays at the Rockford location around 10pm.
