Position Summary
The Manager, Talent Acquisition leads the development and execution of strategic recruiting initiatives to attract and retain top talent across all of Landline’s frontline teams. This includes hiring professional CDL drivers and customer service representatives at our airport locations. The role ensures the company maintains a strong pipeline of qualified, customer-oriented, and safety-focused employees who support exceptional passenger service.
The Manager, Talent Acquisition partners with senior leaders and operations managers to align workforce planning with business goals and to ensure that our recruiting processes achieve compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and state transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy to meet short- and long-term staffing goals for driver and airport team positions.
- Collaborate with operations and HR leadership to forecast workforce needs and design proactive recruiting plans.
- Own the timeline from the start of recruiting to the completion of training to accurately project the release of new team members to their regular work schedules.
- Monitor industry trends and regional labor markets to inform competitive recruiting and retention strategies.
Recruitment and Training Coordination
- Oversee all aspects of full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external training partners to ensure candidates are on track to meet the Company’s target duty start dates. Function as a central point of training coordination and seek out process efficiencies.
- Lead and mentor the Company’s recruiting resources to ensure consistent, high-quality hiring practices.
- Manage candidate pipelines for high priority operational roles.
- Work with the Safety team to ensure all hiring processes comply with DOT, FMCSA, and state passenger transportation regulations (including background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and driving record verification).
- Track and report on recruiting KPIs, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and employee retention.
Employer Branding & Community Engagement
- Strengthen the company’s employment brand as a premier passenger transportation employer.
- Develop marketing materials and campaigns to highlight the company’s work culture and employee benefits.
Technology & Process Improvement
- Manage the Company’s Applicant Tracking System and implement recruiting process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the candidate experience.
- Leverage data analytics to guide decision-making and continuous improvement in talent acquisition.
- Oversee relationships with external recruiting partners and job boards.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, including 2 years in a management role.
- Experience recruiting in transportation or logistics strongly preferred
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance is a plus

Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based, with regular visits to operational sites across the country
Compensation Range: $75,000 - $100,000
