What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Customer Service/Cashier position at The Landing Providence?
The Landing is a café, gift shop and ice cream parlor located in the heart of downtown Providence. We serve New Harvest Coffee, Gifford's Ice Cream, and locally baked treats. We are also the home to Ocean State Kayak and the Providence River Boat Co., so we are quite busy this time of year!
- Previous true Barista experience is necessary. You must know how to pull shots of espresso and make latte's without automated machines, such as DD.
- Weekday shifts available, but rotating weekend shifts are a must for ALL employees.

- Candidates will be responsible for opening/closing store; cleaning bathrooms and storefront on a daily basis; maintaining proper inventory; restocking supplies.
- Candidates will also be responsible for checking customers in for their boat tours and kayak rentals on our POS.
- We have a beautiful, centrally located space right across from the Providence River, full of windows and natural light. Come have some fun with us in our warm and welcoming café in beautiful Providence!

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
