Mortadella Head isn’t your average sandwich shop—and this isn’t your average cashier job.

We serve massive Italian-American sandwiches, Roman-style pizza, homemade meatballs, lasagna, and plenty of good vibes. We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing Cashier who can make every guest feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

You’ll be one of the first people our guests meet, so a great attitude, strong communication skills, and a little personality go a long way!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting every guest with energy and a smile
• Taking orders accurately through our Toast POS system
• Answering questions and helping guests choose something delicious
• Handling cash and credit card transactions responsibly
• Preparing and packaging dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders
• Double-checking orders before they leave the restaurant
• Keeping the front counter, dining area, and beverage station clean and organized
• Restocking supplies, sauces, drinks, utensils, and packaging
• Communicating clearly with the kitchen and the rest of the team
• Helping create a fun, welcoming experience for every guest
• Jumping in wherever needed—we work as one team!

Restaurant or cashier experience is helpful, but it isn’t required. We’re happy to train someone who brings the right attitude and wants to learn.

Physical Requirements

This position may require you to:

• Stand and move around for most of your shift
• Bend, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds
• Work around hot equipment and food
• Keep up in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment
