Grocery Outlet of La Mirada is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on retail management professional to join our leadership team.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about customer service, team development, store operations, and driving results in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead store associates during daily operations
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive shopping experience
- Manage inventory, merchandising, stocking, and product presentation
- Assist with receiving, ordering, and inventory control
- Receive and process warehouse deliveries, including palletized merchandise
- Safely operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed
- Monitor store conditions, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Help achieve sales, productivity, and shrink goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
Qualifications
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience required
- Grocery, supermarket, warehouse, or receiving experience preferred
- Knowledge of pallet handling, receiving procedures, and backroom organization
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
