Calibration Lab - Gage Inspector

Job title:Calibration Lab – Gage InspectorLocation:Westlake, OH

Requirements:Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm, occasional Saturday shifts About the role:

Individual will be performing physical dimensional measurements using comparative techniques. Individual may also be required to measure optical cubes, flats, polygons and angle gages.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate and operate measurement equipment according to procedures.
• Perform calibrations on customer’s and Webber owned assets.
• Must be able to meet the daily job quota, accurately and correctly, set by Chief Inspector.
• Ability to listen and follow through with instructions.
• Must be able to read decimals and have a basic understanding of metric prefixes
• Verify measurements are accurate and discern whether readings are true or false.
• Collaborate with your co-workers and supervisor to problem solve and meet deadlines.
• Must be meticulous, attention to detail and double check everything.
• Performs all other duties assigned.
  
  

Candidate requirements:

• Prior calibration/measuring experience a plus, but we will train.
• Ability to perform precision tasks with keen eyesight and focus.
• Requires find motor skills for precise handling of tools, gages and equipment.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds
