We are seeking a mid-level SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environment. You'll be the go-to expert for site architecture, permissions, governance, and integration with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, supporting collaboration and document management needs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SharePoint Online / SharePoint Server environments, including site collections, hub sites, and permissions structures
- Design and implement site architecture, taxonomy, and information governance policies
- Manage user access, security groups, and permission levels in line with least-privilege best practices
- Configure and maintain workflows using Power Automate, and support Power Apps integrations
- Monitor system performance, storage quotas, and health; troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Support migration (e.g., on-prem to SharePoint Online, or version upgrades)
- Collaborate with IT security to ensure compliance with data protection and retention policies
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint-related issues
- Manage third-party integrations and custom solutions (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Nintex, or similar tools)
- Stay current on Microsoft 365 roadmap updates and recommend relevant improvements
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on SharePoint administration experience (Online and/or on-premises)
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and governance models
- Experience with Microsoft 365 admin center, Azure AD, and related M365 tools
- Familiarity with Power Automate and/or Power Apps
- Working knowledge of PowerShell for SharePoint management and automation
- Solid understanding of information security and compliance principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to support both technical and non-technical users
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-101, MS-500, or SharePoint-specific credentials)
- Experience with SharePoint migrations or hybrid environments
- Familiarity with Nintex, K2, or other workflow automation tools
- Experience with scripting/development (JavaScript, REST API, PnP PowerShell)
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
