What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions and Marketing Director position at The King's Daughters' School?
The Director of Admissions & Marketing Strategy provides visionary leadership for admissions, marketing, and recruitment efforts for a private residential school serving students and adults with intellectual disabilities. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enrollment strategy that aligns mission, capacity, and long-term growth goals.
The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and big-picture focused — a strategic, systems-oriented thinker who can master program details while identifying new referral pathways and cultivating partnerships that position the school as a trusted option among educational consultants, school systems, and families. They are mission-driven, values-aligned, and comfortable representing the organization externally. They lead with confidence, influence without authority, and bring an adaptable, curious, growth-minded approach to their work.

Enrollment Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute a multi-year enrollment strategy; analyze trends, referral sources, and market opportunities; and collaborate with senior leadership to align admissions goals with program capacity and resources.

Outreach & Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with educational consultants, placement professionals, and public school/special education teams. Represent the school at conferences and professional events.
Marketing & Brand Provide strategic oversight of marketing initiatives (digital, print, web) to ensure messaging clearly reflects the school's mission, outcomes, and differentiators.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration Supervise admissions staff as applicable; serve as a thought partner to leadership on market positioning, growth strategy, and cross-departmental alignment.
