Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood education.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and professional development to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's growth and address any concerns.
- Monitor compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards, maintaining all necessary documentation.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes for children.
- Foster partnerships with local community organizations to enhance resources available to families.
Experience
- A degree in Education Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education.
- Background in higher education teaching is a plus, providing insights into curriculum development and educational strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate staff, parents, and stakeholders.
