We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, with experience in the food industry. As a Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food preparation and exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
• POS systems for order processing and cash handling
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling and promoting daily specials
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and rotating products
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing a positive customer experience
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
• Follow all health regulations related to food handling and preparation

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
• Experience with food preparation, culinary tasks, and kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with cashiering duties, including operating POS systems (Aloha or Micros)
• Experience in bussing or serving is a plus
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the food industry
