Special educator/ ABA instructor/ RBT - Elementary school

About Us

• Private, ABA, 12-month school, based on positive reinforcement, educating children ages 3 to 21 on the Autism Spectrum.
• Small classroom sizes, 1:1 student to teacher ratio, rotation every 45 minutes, a multi-disciplinary team.

Job Details

• Works directly with students in 1:1, dyad and small group learning situations, including community instruction.
• Creates and maintains individualized programs for child, with supervision.
• Collects and graphs data on a daily basis. Maintains data and graphs and consults with supervisor to make modifications to programs based on the collected data as necessary.
• Participates regularly in school staff meetings, joint staff meetings, staff development days,
• and other training opportunities.
• Weekly team meetings to discuss carry-over across disciplines.
• Excellent overall training and supervision.
• Hiring for an immediate position in our lower school
• M- F, 8:45 - 4:45 with one day 8:15 - 4:45 for team meeting

Qualifications

• BA/ BS/ MA/ MS degree
• RBT certification a plus
• Salary listed is for BA level education, related field plus current RBT certification and at least 2 years experience. Salary is scaled depending on years of experience and degree.
