What are the responsibilities and job description for the RBT / ABA provider position at Mastermind ABA?
Overview
Currently seeking seasoned, (min 2 years experience) Male RBT to work with older male students who are Developmentally Delayed , Autism and/or Traumatic Brain Injury
Duties
- Implement individualized ABA therapy to support clients’ developmental goals, which includes reducing maladaptive behaviors and teaching replacement skills
- Collect data accurately during sessions
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines
- Collaborate with team members, to ensure consistency in Behavior Intervention Plan
- Teach positive social interactions in Natural Environment, at home group and in the community
Requirements
- Candidate require BCBA supervised experience and training in ABA therapy,
- Strong background working with teens and adults with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to assist clients with ADLs while maintaining patience and a compassionate approach
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for safeguarding patient information
- Excellent teaching skills combined with data collection proficiency for tracking behavioral progress
- Certification or licensure as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), or equivalent is preferred, but not mandatory. Applicant requires BCBA supervised training and experience in implementing BIP--
- Male Providers that have experience working in an ABA Residential School Program preferred
