The Keller Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the Phoenix area that is hiring a Director of Credit and Receivables to their team. We are seeking an experienced credit and receivables leader to oversee credit risk, collections performance and cash flow optimization across the organization. This role will provide strategic direction for credit operations, lead a high-performing team and partner with key business functions to support growth while minimizing financial risk.

Responsibilities:
- Lead all credit, collections and accounts receivable activities to support healthy cash flow and minimize risk exposure
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial information, payment history and third-party credit resources
- Establish and maintain credit policies, procedures, and approval guidelines
- Manage collection efforts, resolve complex account issues and implement strategies to reduce outstanding receivables
- Monitor aging trends, key performance metrics and departmental performance, providing regular reporting to leadership
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements and operational efficiencies within the credit function
- Oversee sales and use tax compliance activities as well as cash application accuracy and account reconciliation activities
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Finance teams to balance customer needs with sound credit practices
- Recruit, develop and mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- 7 years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable or financial risk management
- Prior leadership experience required
- Experience working within mid-sized to large organizations and managing complex customer portfolios
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Epicor or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience with sales and use tax, and Avalara is a plus
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
