Accounts Receivable Manager

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a talented AR and collections team, helping them grow both professionally and personally.
  
• Oversee invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and account aging to keep cash flow strong and healthy.
  
• Manage overdue accounts, resolve escalated collection issues, and make sound credit decisions.
  
• Work closely with sales and customer service to resolve billing questions while keeping customer relationships positive.
  
• Introduce process improvements and tools that make the team’s work more efficient, accurate, and enjoyable.
  
• Provide clear, insightful reports to leadership on AR aging, collections performance, and credit risk.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
• 7 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections, including 3 years leading a team.
  
• Strong communication and negotiation skills—you know how to balance firmness with professionalism.
  
• Comfortable using ERP/accounting systems (experience with AR/collections tools is a plus).
  
• A problem-solver with a collaborative mindset who thrives in a team-oriented culture.
