Duties
- Operate different types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to haul junk efficiently and safely
- Load and unload debris, refuse, and recyclable materials using manual lifting techniques and mechanical knowledge of truck equipment
- Drive commercial vehicles with manual transmissions across designated routes while adhering to all safety regulations
- Use mechanical skills to inspect and maintain trucks and loading equipment for optimal performance
- Assist in sorting recyclable materials from waste loads when necessary
- Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent spillage or accidents during transit
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience operating front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers
- Proven driving experience with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various truck types including roll-off and dump trucks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
