Job Title: Sterile Processing Technologists
Location: Spring, TX, 77389
Duration: 02 months with possible contract extension
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:00 am – 03:30 pm

Clean and process instruments for surgical cases
Please Describe The Team The Candidate Will Be Working With (number Of Team Members Break-down Of The Team’s Skill Sets Team Culture Etc.)
Will work directly with Lead SPD tech
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)?
Decontamination room-cleaning and preparing instruments for processing, Running Washer, Preparing instruments for VPro and Steris, Putting instrument sets together, Putting sets away after they are processed
What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)?
Must have at least 2 years Sterile Processing experience; Preferred Ambulatory Surgery Center experience
What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)?
Able to put complete sets together based on count sheet, follow ASC guidelines for processing, work with staff in OR to turn over on timely basis
What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)?
Must be positive attitude and work well with a team
Does this position require a professional license or certification? If so please list. Preferred: Graduate of an accredited sterile processing tech program. Preferred: Certified CSPD Technician
What is the dress code (ex: business casual scrubs etc.)? Candidate will wear scrubs provided by ASC
How would you prefer to interview? (Video phone or in person? How many rounds?) In-person or video
