Our client is currently seeking a Sterile Processing Technologist in Houston TX.

Role Summary

Seeking a certified Sterile Processing Technologist to ensure safe, efficient processing of surgical instruments in an Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments per AAMI ST79 & AORN guidelines.
• Operate/maintain sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers, sterilizers).
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory, repairs, and timely turnaround of instrument sets.
• Collaborate with nursing/physician teams and support onboarding of new staff.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Accredited Sterile Processing Tech program graduate
• 2 years sterile processing experience (ASC or hospital)
• CSPD Technician Certification (required)
• BLS – AHA
• Knowledge of AAMI & AORN standards; surgical tech experience a plus
