About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join our client's growing engineering and consulting firm as a Senior Professional Transportation Engineer. The ideal candidate is a seasoned roadway design professional who is passionate about mentoring teams, managing impactful projects, and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in roadway design and guide teams in delivering high-quality solutions
- Manage projects from proposal through delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder engagement
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
- Support business development through marketing, proposal writing, and industry engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 8 years of highway/roadway design experience
- Proficiency in MicroStation and GEOPAK
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Experience with public engagement and presenting technical concepts
- Proven ability to write proposals and manage client relationships
- Design-build or CMGC experience is a plus
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
