Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a client-facing Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer to lead work procurement and manage moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects, with a focus on solar infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for solar-related geotechnical projects.
- Manage project execution including scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
- Support business development and contribute to strategic goals.
- Build and maintain client relationships through regular engagement.
- Coordinate staff and resources with regional operations leaders.
- Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports and analyses.
- Ensure quality control and resolve technical issues.
- Lead technical teams and mentor junior engineering staff.
- Assist in team development for transmission and power infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (and ability to obtain licensure in other states).
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience in solar infrastructure.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred.
- Consulting firm experience and existing client relationships are a plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
