Registered Nurse Home Health (Travel)

Location: York County, Maine (Primary office: 15 Industrial Park Road, Saco, ME 04072) Facility: MHCAH – York Division Position Type: Travel Contract Contract Length: 10 weeks Start Date: May 25, 2026 Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours/week Compensation: Total Gross Pay $3,195/week

About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse to support MHCAH’s York Division. This role provides comprehensive in‑home patient care across York County. You’ll manage a diverse adult patient population and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 20–25 patients, completing 5–6 home visits per day
• Deliver skilled nursing care across adult med‑surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, GI/GU, and wound care populations
• Complete documentation in EPIC and perform OASIS assessments
• Participate in an every‑other‑weekend rotation, or select from approved alternative schedules based on agency needs
• Provide limited call coverage: 2–4 call‑backs/month between 5 PM–8 PM (no overnight call)
• Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Home Health experience
• EPIC and OASIS proficiency
• BLS certification

• IV therapy
• Tube feeds
• Tracheostomy care
• Compression wraps
• Port access
• Ostomy care
• Chest tubes
• Suprapubic catheters
• Lab draws

• Agency laptop
• iPhone with case and chargers
• Nursing supply bin
• Nursing bag with vital‑signs equipment
• INR machine
