*About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Quality Manager*
to lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance and food safety within our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining product integrity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF/BRC, and other food safety standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections and third-party certifications.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and train the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of food safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the process.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing root cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and GFSI standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
*Preferred Skills*
- Experience with SQF/BRC certification programs.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
