Description
Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Plant Engineer in Bloomsburg, PA area! The candidate will be responsible to direct, schedule and control all engineering and maintenance functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering leadership at the plant level
- Supervise and coach direct reports
- Complete direct reports performance reviews and provide feedback
- Manage capital projects for the plant
- Recommend equipment and processing system modifications and replacements
- Remain up to date on plant technology
- Develop, implement, and control approved budgets
- Create and maintain engineering records including equipment records and manuals, drawing and diagrams, inspections reports and any legal documents
- Establish and administer and effective predictive/preventative maintenance program
- Oversee all processes for maintenance and engineering associates
- Lead inclusive of plant, division, and company goals
- Work closely with outside organizations such as OSHA, EPA, FDA
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of GMP, EPA and OSHA requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proven leadership skills
