Pharmacist (RPH) – Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Location: Morrisville, NC

Shift Options

Option 1: Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM, rotating every 4th weekend (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Option 2: 7 On / 7 Off Schedule (Wednesday night–Tuesday), with weekday night shifts and weekend daytime shifts

About The Role

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPH) to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced long-term care environment. The Pharmacist will ensure accurate medication dispensing, regulatory compliance, staff oversight, and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, DEA, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulations
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and workflow operations
• Perform clinical review for drug interactions, allergies, and therapy appropriateness
• Oversee medication dispensing, packaging, and labeling
• Assist with controlled substance inventory management
• Support sterile IV preparation and verification
• Participate in evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, allergies, and clinical pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
