The Pharmacist is responsible for supporting and advancing the pharmacy’s goals and objectives within a dispensing pharmacy environment. This role provides routine and emergency comprehensive, accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services across various drug distribution systems. Strong management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential to ensure medications are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow management, production quotas, and meeting established deadlines.
- Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with DEA policies and procedures as established by client or applicable regulatory agencies (whichever is more stringent).
- Ensure adherence to all third-party payer contract rules and regulations.
- Supervise pharmacy production staff to ensure proper order entry, efficient workflow, pharmacy security, and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of all new and refill medication orders, labels, packaging, and documentation.
- Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of all sterile IV drug products and solutions.
- Assist with the ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances, including maintaining a perpetual inventory for Schedule II medications.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and controlled substance management
- Experience with sterile compounding and IV preparation preferred
- Proven attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to supervise staff and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evening shifts, rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
Salary : $57 - $63
