Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager in Jackson, MS area! The candidate will be responsible for overseeing three facilities in the area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs with department leaders and external partners to ensure comprehensive development across the complex.
- Ensure completion of all required annual training, including EEO, Ethics, and Compliance.
- Support management in building supervisory capability through targeted training and coaching initiatives.
- Audit exit interviews for hourly and salaried employees to ensure proper execution and documentation.
- Assist management in implementing retention strategies focused on improving onboarding, orientation, and job training.
- Provide recommendations to enhance people‑management skills among frontline supervisors.
- Collect, analyze, and report turnover, retention, and absenteeism data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct HR audits to ensure procedural consistency and compliance with company policies and practices.
- Review audit findings with facility leadership and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor follow‑through on corrective measures to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
- Identify future staffing needs for salaried and clerical roles and plan recruitment activities accordingly.
- Maintain and execute the Hourly Staffing Model to ensure adequate workforce levels.
- Review recruitment strategies for all positions, ensuring alignment with diversity goals and organizational needs.
- Promote the company’s achievements, community impact, and grower relations within the local area.
- Represent the organization in community service groups and encourage management participation in volunteer activities.
- Strengthen the company’s reputation through active engagement and positive community presence.
- Partner with the Complex Safety Department to reinforce safety awareness, training, orientation, and compliance.
- Support initiatives that promote a safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-10 years experience in HR field
- Standard computer skills
- Must be able to travel 2-4 times a year
