Job Title: Home Health Skilled Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Mississippi (field‑based home health role)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Health Skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in their homes. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent time‑management skills, and the ability to manage complex patient needs in a fast‑paced home health environment. The RN will work independently while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Work Schedule
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: One Saturday per month
A weekday off is provided during the week of the scheduled Saturday
On‑Call Requirement: None
Mileage Reimbursement
Reimbursement applies between patient visits, starting with the first visit and ending with the last visit of the day
Key Responsibilities
The Home Health Skilled RN will perform the following duties on a daily basis:
Provide skilled home health nursing care to patients in their homes
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations
Deliver infusion therapy and manage IV‑related care
Provide complex and multiple wound care treatments
Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, and care plans
Utilize Homecare Homebase (HCHB) for accurate and timely clinical documentation
Effectively manage schedules and caseloads in a fast‑paced environment
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Maintain compliance with clinical policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards
Travel between patient homes throughout the assigned service area
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Mississippi
Proven Home Health Nursing experience
Prior experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
Experience with:
Infusion therapy
Complex wound care
Patient and caregiver education
Time and caseload management
Ability to work independently in a field‑based home health setting
Successful completion of fingerprinting and a cleared criminal background check prior to start
