This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• A growing food/beverage company located in Alabama is currently searching for a degreed controller. To be considered, you must have at least 5 years of accounting experience and will have the following responsibilities. The company offers a good starting salary, bonuses, benefits and relocation. Report Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and several weekly operational cost and statistical reports.

Weekly determination of plant costs and production costs.

Weekly specialized operational cost reports and weekly estimated income statement.

Manage salaried and hourly staff.

Manage vendor and intercompany Accounts Payable.

Manage customer and intercompany Accounts Receivable.

Manage weekly payroll reporting.

Capital Expenditure reporting, Fixed Asset reporting.

Annual independent audit workpaper preparation and explanations if needed to auditor.

Assist with annual operational budget process.

Property tax returns preparation, 1099 reporting, sales and use tax reporting.

The accounting subject matter expert at the division.

Reports to the parent company Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4 year degree required
• Must have food/beverage industry experience
