Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, Standard Business Hours)
- Work Location: Hybrid (2–3 days in-office)

- Clinical Trial Billing & Invoicing: Coordinate end-to-end billing for clinical trials, including sponsor invoicing for patient visits, study-related procedures, patient reimbursements, and third-party vendor payments aligned with trial budgets and contracts.
- Protocol & Financial Analysis: Review study protocols to accurately identify billable services and ensure appropriate segregation between research-funded costs and standard-of-care patient billing.
- System Management & Tracking: Utilize Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and financial software to track trial revenue, maintain documentation (e.g., DSA forms), and monitor outstanding accounts.
- Reconciliation & Dispute Resolution: Troubleshoot billing workflows and resolve financial discrepancies or claims disputes with patients, trial sponsors, and insurance providers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training: Conduct billing training for clinical staff, partner with revenue cycle teams, and provide operational cross-coverage for compliance specialists.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and status updates for department leadership and the finance team.
- Experience: 3 years of billing or accounting experience in a healthcare environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic), CTMS platforms, or specialized financial management software.
- Prior experience in clinical research billing, clinical trial budgets, or coverage analysis.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare reimbursement methodologies, and clinical trial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
