Certified Phlebotomist

Schedule- 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform blood collection using venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.
• Process and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
• Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and ensure proper labeling and identification.
• Provide clear instructions to patients for various collection methods (e.g., urine collection).
• Educate patients on post-phlebotomy care.
• Safely dispose of hazardous and sharp materials in compliance with safety protocols.
• Obtain specimens for microbiology testing.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity laboratory testing as required.
