What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Phlebotomist position at The Judge Group?
Schedule- 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform blood collection using venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.
- Process and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
- Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and ensure proper labeling and identification.
- Provide clear instructions to patients for various collection methods (e.g., urine collection).
- Educate patients on post-phlebotomy care.
- Safely dispose of hazardous and sharp materials in compliance with safety protocols.
- Obtain specimens for microbiology testing.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform waived and moderate complexity laboratory testing as required.
Salary : $24 - $25
