Pay Rate: $28/hr - $30/hr

Responsibilities

• Resident Relationships — Build meaningful connections with assigned residents and their families by supporting activities of daily living, understanding individual needs, and honoring personal preferences.
• Care Monitoring — Observe and report changes in resident condition; recommend adjustments to care plans.
• Life Enrichment Support — Assist residents with life skills and enrichment activities aligned with their individualized profiles.
• ISP Participation — Contribute to the development and monthly updates of Individualized Service Plans.
• Resident Oversight — Maintain awareness of resident locations and conduct regular physical check‑ins throughout the shift.
• Safety & Compliance — Partner with community teams to ensure OSHA compliance and support risk‑management policies.
• Dining Support — Assist with resident and guest dining needs while upholding Sunrise hospitality standards.
• IEA Engagement — Invite, encourage, and assist residents in activities outlined in their ISP and demographic profile.
• Service Commitment — Demonstrate dedication to Sunrise’s Principles of Service in all interactions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Passion for Senior Care — Strong commitment to serving seniors with exceptional customer service.
• Team Mindset — Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Education — High school diploma or GED (may be required depending on state regulations).
• Certification — Must maintain required state certifications where applicable.
• Age Requirement — Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience — Prior experience with seniors preferred.
• Decision‑Making — Ability to make sound choices in the best interest of residents.
• Communication Skills — Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organization & Time Management — Competent in managing tasks and priorities.
• Judgment & Problem Solving — Demonstrates good judgment and effective decision‑making.
