What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor Tech position at The Journey Detox and Recovery in Geneva , AL?
- You need to be able to pass a drug screening. your job is to take care of patients by running addiction recovery groups and speak with them one on one. We also take patients out to smoke frequently throughout the day and get them snacks, coffee and drinks. We answer phones and do intakes. We work with the hospital staff to help the patients. Must punctual and work well with others. If you have been to or participated in AA, NA or celebrate recovery, it is a HUGE plus. If you are a recovering addict with a year or more clean that is also a huge plus. We care about our clients and try our best to help them recover from this disease by educating them.
