Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal/Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is primarily handles personal lines (PL) with some commercial lines (CL). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance account management, with experience in personal lines and a willingness to learn and grow in commercial lines. You will play a key role in servicing our clients, managing policies, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package (details available upon request)
- Work Environment: Fully onsite position, located conveniently next to the DMV
- Manage a book of business consisting of approximately 650 policies with $1.38M in premium
- Handle a mix of personal lines (home, auto) and small commercial packages (BOPs, general liability)
- Provide exceptional customer service, including processing endorsements, change requests, and Certificates of Insurance (CIOs)
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Run reports and maintain accurate records in Applied TAM software
- Assist walk-in clients and address their insurance needs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transitions and effective client management
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in insurance account management
- Preferred: 3-5 years of experience, with exposure to both personal and commercial lines
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied TAM software is preferred
- Soft Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
