Insurance Sales Executive – Employee Benefits

Job Summary

Seeking high-performing, entrepreneurial Insurance Sales Executives to drive aggressive growth in the Midwest region. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to build a substantial book of business. As an Insurance Sales Executive specializing in Employee Benefits, you will focus on generating new business, fostering long-term client relationships, and collaborating with a dedicated service team to deliver exceptional results. This is not a traditional employee model but a unique opportunity for individuals with a growth-oriented mindset and a passion for sales.

Compensation Package

  • Draw-Based Model: Compensation is structured on a draw equivalent to 25% of your annual production capacity.
    • Example: $300,000 base pay for producing $1.2M in revenue annually.
  • Transition Period: Optional 1–2 year W2 transition period, if needed.
  • Long-Term Upside: Full partner economics over time, with significant flexibility in income allocation.
  • Average Producer Book: ~$5M in revenue.
Responsibilities

  • Generate new, qualified business through self-directed sales strategies.
  • Build and grow a high-quality, long-term book of business.
  • Collaborate with a Unit Manager to allocate resources and manage growth effectively.
  • Leverage dedicated service teams for client servicing and execution.
  • Reinvest strategically in business development, client engagement, and service excellence.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven track record as a high-performing producer with strong sales capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a comfort level for financial risk and autonomy.
  • Highly motivated, growth-oriented, and driven by upside potential.
  • Ability to operate effectively with minimal top-down constraints.
  • Strong cultural alignment with a producer-led organization.
  • Open to candidates from non-insurance backgrounds with demonstrated "grit" and sales experience (e.g., professional or collegiate athletes, military academy graduates, or Navy SEAL training alumni).
