Compensation
- $65,000 - $85,000/year (based on experience)

- 2 years of underwriting experience in homeowners liability and/or homeowners property
- Experience working for an insurance carrier or MGA with underwriting authority
- Strong understanding of homeowners coverages, forms, and rating
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance underwriting discipline with growth objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with appointed agents and brokers
- Serve as a primary underwriting point of contact for agency partners
- Support new business growth by identifying market opportunities and underwriting profitable risks
- Participate in agency meetings, training sessions, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive portfolio growth and retention
- Partner with internal teams including claims, actuarial, product, and compliance
- Monitor portfolio performance and assist with underwriting strategy adjustments
- Provide underwriting insight to support product development and market expansion
