This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to the clients, managing a diverse portfolio of accounts ranging from mid-sized to large-scale clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in agency experience, particularly in self-funded accounts, and possess a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- 401(k) Plan: Available
- Manage and service a variety of accounts, including self-funded and fully insured clients, ranging from small businesses to large organizations with several thousand employees.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assist with quoting new and renewal business.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.
- Utilize software tools such as Outlook and BenefitPoint to manage client accounts and documentation.
- Participate in occasional travel within the Phoenix area to meet client needs.
- Licenses/Certifications: Life and Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of agency experience.
- Strong background in self-funded accounts is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Outlook and familiarity with BenefitPoint or similar AMS software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong responsiveness and ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially during peak periods such as open enrollments.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to ask insightful questions and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- Thick skin and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
