Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely renewals, policy changes, and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic reviews of accounts to assess coverage needs, provide recommendations, and ensure clients have the appropriate level of protection.
• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations to support client acquisition and retention.
• Handle account-related inquiries, resolving issues and providing timely, comprehensive solutions for clients.
• Stay informed on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to educate clients effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and claims departments, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and account management systems.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an account executive or in a related role within commercial insurance.
• Proven expertise in managing commercial lines accounts and a deep understanding of policy language and coverage.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a client-centric approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and insurance-related software applications.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention goals.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
