Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

Job Summary

A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support a tenured and collaborative commercial lines team. This role focuses on servicing and supporting an assigned book of business, with an emphasis on renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day client support. Administrative tasks such as certificates and ID cards are handled by a dedicated support resource, allowing this position to remain service- and relationship-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support and service an assigned Commercial Lines book of business
• Assist with renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and coverage reviews
• Support new business quoting and placement efforts
• Collaborate with Producers and internal teams to retain and grow client relationships
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding renewals, coverage changes, and placement options
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within the agency management software
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
• Prior experience in Commercial Lines account management or servicing
• Solid understanding of generalist Commercial Lines coverages, including Property, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation
• Experience working within an agency management software environment
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a high degree of independence
