Commercial Lines Account Manager/Sales Producer

Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager/Sales Producer to join a growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a book of business while driving new sales in both personal and commercial lines. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving, relationship-building, and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 (up to $70,000-$75,000 for highly experienced candidates)
• Incentives: Base salary plus 20% commission, with opportunities for base salary increases as renewals exceed the base

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a book of business, focusing on accounts under $25,000 in premium
• Quote and renew personal and commercial lines insurance policies
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging leads and networking events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
• Experience:
• Prior experience in insurance is required
• Experience with EZLynx software is preferred
• Captive insurance experience is acceptable for strong candidates
• Skills:
• Sales-oriented mindset with a proven ability to generate and close leads
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take on challenges head-on
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on education and relationship-building
• Team player with a collaborative approach to work
• Self-aware and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Work Environment:
• Primarily on-site, with potential for one remote day per week
• Must be willing to travel locally for networking events and client meetings
